Emsland-Stärke GmbH, with its production sites in Wietzendorf, Golßen and Kyritz and the main factory in Emlichheim, forms the largest part of the Emsland Group.
More than 1,000,000 tonnes of potatoes are processed in the factories of Emsland-Stärke GmbH, of which 222,000 tonnes of potato starch alone were produced. In addition, more than 80,000 tons of peas are delivered annually to the plants for further processing. In addition to fibers, about 30,000 tons of pea starch are extracted from this.
The optimal interaction of the individual operations ensures the economic efficiency of the plants, safeguarding quality standards and increasing occupational safety.
